My name is Ruiseart and I have been a musician since early childhood. I received a drum on my first birthday, a guitar on my sixth and performed my first paid gig at eight years of age (it was a wedding and I was paid two shillings and sixpence). Over the years I have played in bands from many styles such as blues, rock (even pop, disco and country & western - but please don't tell anyone) and have spent many years writing and recording. In addition to all this, I have also had a somewhat notorious career as a heavy-metal singer under the name "Angus McDeth" (an aspect which hasn't really gone away, in fact it has threatened to re-emerge on more than one occasion). Whilst I've had a somewhat chequered musical history, rock 'n' roll, blues and folk will always be at the core of my music.
Ich bin Ruiseart und ich bin seit meiner frühen Kindheit Musiker. Zu meinem ersten Geburtstag bekam ich eine Trommel, zu meinem sechsten eine Gitarre und mit acht Jahren hatte ich meinen ersten bezahlten Auftritt (es war eine Hochzeit und ich bekam zwei Schilling und sechs Pence). Im Laufe der Jahre habe ich in Bands aus vielen Stilrichtungen wie Blues, Rock (sogar Pop, Disco und Country & Western - aber bitte nicht weitersagen) gespielt und viele Jahre mit dem Komponieren und Aufnehmen von Musik verbracht. Darüber hinaus hatte ich auch eine etwas berüchtigte Karriere als Heavy-Metal-Sänger unter dem Namen "Angus McDeth" (ein Geist, der nicht wirklich verschwunden ist, sondern sogar mehr als einmal wieder auftaucht). Obwohl ich eine etwas wechselvolle musikalische Geschichte habe, werden Rock 'n' Roll, Blues und Folk immer im Mittelpunkt meiner Musik stehen.
